Hello Sponsors, God has provided some awesome donations and opportunities. First of all, in August we had a couple named Randy and Deb Lawrence come down. Randy and Deb Lawrence along with Brad and Janet Hinman are dedicated to bringing water filters down to Honduras to provide families with clean water. This update from Michael Miller on water filters not only shows how much God is providing but it also comes with a challenge: 1,000 water filters for 1,000 families.
Here is an update from Michael Miller on youth groups:
This is Medical Team 6.
It consisted of three doctors, nine nurses, and one lady named Susan Cotter who came down to help with cooking and cleaning. We set up at two different schools and also took them out to Comayagua. They saw 1,380 patients during the time that they were here.

Recently Honduras received a lot of rain from at the time was tropical depression Michael. Even though it hadn't turned into a hurricane yet, it did a lot of damage in Honduras. The area that received a lot of damage was in the south in the department of Choluteca. A lot of people had to evacuate their homes due to flooding. This past Monday the 15th of October, we took 358 packages of soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and lotion out to help. The donations came from churches in Las Vegas. Michael had been wondering how we could help the people that had been affected by the storm and God gave him the idea to open up the suitcases of donations that the medical team had left. All of the soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and lotion were inside. We made the packages beforehand and took them out on Monday.
We went to the police station in the city of Choluteca. Mike and Glenda went in and asked the police where the area was that had been affected the most. They directed us to a nearby town called Monjaras. At this point, we found out that most of the people had returned to their homes but they had lost a lot of their possessions. The government was coordinating donations in the area and helped us distribute the packages to the communities most affected.

After seeing the people and finding out what the need was, Michael decided to take the donations of clothes and shoes in the house and pack them up and take them to Monjaras.
We gave them to the people coordinating the donations. They were very grateful to receive the clothes because that was one of the big donations they were looking for.
