I was around ten years old when I first heard about Border Buddies Ministries. A team was going down from my church to a country called Honduras. At the time I didn't even know where Honduras was.
Fast forward two years, another team from my church was going down to Honduras but this time the Lord put it on my heart to go. There was a problem though. You had to be sixteen in order to go on the trip. So I had to wait another four years before I was able to go on the trip.
Once I turned sixteen, I joined my first BBM mission team and went down and loved the experience. I felt like God wanted me to go back. The three following years I returned on other mission teams and in 2014 I went down and lived there for two months with Michael and Glenda Miller. When I got back to the states, I felt like God was calling me to live and be a missionary in Honduras. In the beginning of 2015, I came down here to live with Michael and Glenda Miller again. This time with a focus of being a full time missionary.
