Hello Sponsors, things have been interesting lately. From all of the donations collected for the van, Michael was able to buy a very nice, very large Ford Van. Thank you for all who contributed to the van. It is a huge blessing. Michael sent out a newsletter on it which you can see here:
In Comayagua, on March 22nd, people came in with bulldozers and bulldozed the houses of the people in the squatters' community that we have been ministering to. The people there said it was motivated by a group of people that want their land so they can build hotels, malls, and apartments. It turned out to be different than the times in the past that these people's houses had been destroyed because this time the bulldozers only destroyed the houses. In times past, the bulldozers went back and forth and plowed up everything including: houses, wells, trees, and crops. But the Lord was watching out for them this time. The trees that we gave them in the Name of Jesus were not destroyed as well as the filters and all the other blessings that God provided for them all survived. It was a terrible sight to see all of the houses knocked down but there was still hope to be had from seeing the trees standing and the faith of the people that were still there. Many of them had already started to build their houses again.
The Sunday that we got there and saw the destruction, Mike drove around to see the conditions that they were in and what they needed most. The people told him food. So we went to the store and we bought food for 120 families. Mike bought rice, beans, coffee, soup, flour, lard, tomato sauce, and spaghetti. We went back to the community and passed it all out. It was received by many grateful people.
The following Friday, Mike bought hammers and nails to hand out to the people many of which who were still building their homes at that point.

Please pray for us as we are going to receive our first team of the year on Thursday, April 13th. Also, pray for the people in Comayagua.
