A word from Gerri our Helping Hands Coordinator:
Dear Business Owners and Crafters;
Hope is something we all need, and hope is what Border Buddies Ministries Inc. offers to the people of Honduras. Started in Elmira, New York in 2004, Border Buddies Ministries provides training, supplies and construction staffing to empower families who would otherwise live in poverty beyond anything we can imagine. Through the programs provided by Border Buddies Ministries, people are given opportunities to feed their own families and learn the skills to support themselves.
Traveling in Honduras can be challenging, and for a ministry such as ours, a pickup truck is an essential mode of transportation for everything from supplies to people, including the visiting teams that arrive to assist. Our current truck, a 1999 Ram with nearly 200,000 miles, has been regularly maintained and has been a huge blessing to the ministry. However, it has finally given up. The motor has been replaced and over the past few years, many other parts have been replaced and/or repaired. At this moment, the truck is completely disabled, making completing much of our work difficult, if not impossible, to complete.
Border Buddies Ministries Inc. is a 501c3 organization. We minister to men and women in and out of prison, hold weekly youth groups to model a different way of life , provide tailoring classes, help establish small businesses, send medical teams to administer life-giving medical assistance, work on local public schools to expand existing classrooms and add kitchens to provide nutritious lunches to all students. In addition, we have a scholarship program that provides tuition, uniforms, school supplies and so much more to needy children grades 1-12..
We are holding our annual Border Buddies Brunch on January 5th 2019, where we will be holding a silent and live auction to raise funds to replace the present truck. Would you please consider a donation of funds and/or auction items toward this cause so we can reach our goal? We thank you in advance for helping us to continue giving the gift of hope. We will gladly acknowledge your gift in our program.
Kind Regards,
Gerri Sias-Roche

Car For Sale
Dear Sponsors;
Glenda and I are selling our Car that is in New York State (Horseheads area). It cost us to much for the insurance, up keep and registration. So we want to sell it.
Information:
Pontiac G-6
Color: White
Motor: 6 cylinder
4 door with stereo and GPS system.
Year: 2007 with 126,465 miles on it.
It has 4 new all season tires, new brakes, new shocks and struts.
It is a great car for a young person to start out with or for someone who needs a vehicle to get to work. We are including a photo of the car.
We are asking for $3,000.00 for the car. Over half will be donated back to Border Buddies Ministries.
My Dad who has the car at his home also has the tittle sign over and ready for purchase.
If you are interested please e-mail us so we can put you in contact with my Dad so you can take a look at it.
Thank you and Many Blessings,
Michael and Glenda Miller
